Glorious opportunity Heavenly Father, as I woke up this morning, I realized that when I opened my eyes, you have given me another opportunity to let your light shine in my life by choosing to be happy and using 24 hours of the day to give honor and glory to your name in thought, word or deed for you said in your word that nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account for every word or deed we have done (Matthew 12:36; Romans 14:12; Hebrews 4:13; 1 Peter 4:5).
As I read your word today, I also realized that the early believers had no church buildings, no bibles, no transportation, no TV, no radio, no internet, no newspaper, no cell phones nor any electronic gadget or access to information technology but they impacted their surroundings and the people around them to believe in Jesus.
Heavenly Father, I also believe that the early believers were able to do this because of the Holy Spirit who is the one that performs a thousand miracles a day in our lives. His power works in us and through us if we truly believe in Jesus and surrender our lives to Him. Then we will be so dedicated that in everything we do, our whole being will be committed, devoted and enthusiastic to winning the salvation of others.
