Missionary in Focus: Chuck and Joan Dewing in Malta Double-click picture to view larger size
Rev. Chuck and Joan Dewing are American missionaries who are ministering to mostly Filipinos in Malta. Weekly bible studies are conducted as they try to meet as many Filipinos as they can. Recently, they are involved in reaching seafarers with the gospel, too. To quote them in their recent spring 2008 update, “preparations are being made for the next step in establishing a port ministry on the island of Malta ... and we hope to return to the Philippines to organize an outreach to families of the Filipino seamen”
They are currently on the road again in the USA sharing in churches (Arkansas, Maryland and Pennsylvania). Let us be with them in our prayers as they continue with what God has started in their ministry to the seafarers in Malta and to the seafarers’ families in the Philippines.
